Scouting's National Honor Society

Order of the Arrow

What is the Order of the Arrow?

The Order of the Arrow (OA) is Scouting America's national honour society, recognising Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives. Founded in 1915, the OA uses a tradition of American Indigenous ceremonies, symbols, and legends to inspire members to a lifetime of cheerful service.

Bigfoot Lodge

EBSR is home to Bigfoot Lodge, the local OA lodge serving the Glacier's Edge Council. Lodge members gather throughout the year for service projects, fellowship events, and ceremonies — with EBSR serving as a central hub for many of those activities.

Eligibility

  • Registered member of Scouting America
  • First Class rank or higher
