Program Director

Leadership

Oversee all camp programs and coordinate between area directors. Requires prior camp leadership experience.

  • 21+ years old
  • Prior camp director or senior staff experience
  • Scouting America adult membership required

Aquatics Director

Lead all aquatics programming including swimming, boating, and water sports. Lifeguard certification required.

  • 21+ years old
  • Current lifeguard certification
  • Small craft safety experience

Range & Target Activities

Manage rifle, shotgun, archery, and specialty shooting programs. NRA or Scouting America range certification required.

COPE & Climbing Director

High Adventure

Run the challenge course and climbing tower. Project COPE director certification required.

Lead environmental science and ecology programs. Background in biology or environmental science preferred.

Camp Staff Member

Program

Support aquatics programming, assist with swimmer safety, and help deliver a great waterfront experience for Scouts.

  • 16+ years old
  • Registered Scout
  • Drive to Deliver Program at Camp

Boat Beach Manager

Waterfront

Manage all boating operations including canoeing, kayaking, and sailing. Oversee boat beach safety and programming.

  • 18+ years old
  • Small craft safety certification preferred
  • Comfortable on the water

Swim Beach Manager

Waterfront

Oversee all swim beach operations, enforce aquatics safety standards, and coordinate lifeguard staff.

  • 18+ years old
  • Current lifeguard certification
  • Strong swimming ability

Kitchen Manager

Lead all camp dining hall operations including meal planning, food prep, and kitchen staff supervision.

  • 21+ years old
  • Food service or culinary experience
  • ServSafe Food Manager certification or ability to acquire

Commissary Steward

Food Service

Manage camp commissary inventory, supply ordering, and distribution to program areas and troops.

  • 18+ years old
  • Organizational and inventory management skills
  • Experience with food handling preferred

Kitchen Staff

Food Service

Assist with meal preparation, serving, and kitchen cleanup. A great entry-level position for first-year staff.

  • 16+ years old
  • Willingness to work early mornings
  • Team player attitude

Trading Post Manager

Leadership

Oversee daily Trading Post operations including inventory, sales, and customer service. Ensure a welcoming experience for Scouts and families shopping for camp gear and supplies.

  • 18+ years old
  • Experience with retail or cash handling preferred
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills

ATV Program Instructor

High Adventure

Lead ATV safety and riding programs. ANSI ATV instructor certification required.

  • 21+ years old
  • ANSI ATV instructor certification
  • Clean driving record

Health Officer

Health & Safety

Manage the camp health lodge and provide first aid. Current first aid and CPR certification required.

  • 18+ years old
  • Current first aid and CPR certification
  • Medical background preferred

Camp Commissioner

Leadership

Support troop leaders and ensure a quality camp experience for all units. Strong Scouting background required.

  • 18+ years old
  • Strong Scouting background
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

ATV Director

High Adventure

Lead ATV programming for Scouts in a safe, structured environment. Deliver hands-on instruction, enforce safety protocols, and manage equipment.

  • 21+ years old
  • ATV safety certification or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with motorized equipment preferred

Handicraft Manager

Program

Plan and deliver hands-on handicraft programming for Scouts. Manage supplies, teach craft skills, and support merit badge requirements in a creative camp environment.

  • 16+ years old
  • Experience with arts, crafts, or hands-on instruction
  • Enthusiasm for working with youth

STEM Director

Program

Design and deliver engaging STEM programming for Scouts. Lead hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math activities that connect to merit badge requirements and real-world skills.

  • 18+ years old
  • Background in STEM field or education
  • Experience working with youth preferred

Counselor-in-Training (CIT)

A leadership development program for older Scouts transitioning to staff. Work alongside experienced staff in all program areas.

  • 14-16 years old
  • Currently registered Scout
  • Recommendation from unit leader
