What Is the Camp Stewards Program?
The Camp Stewards consist of individuals and groups who feel strongly about supporting the program at Ed Bryant Scout Reservation. Stewards range from current and former volunteers, camp staff alumni, current and former professionals, units, and others who care deeply about camp.
Each Camp Steward donates $100 into the program for the year. Those donations are pooled together to create a meaningful fund for camp improvements. For example, 100 Stewards would generate $10,000 to fund exciting projects for camp!
Your Steward donation must be in addition to your annual Friends of Scouting gift.

How It Works
Step 01
Make Your $100 Donation
Register through the Scoutsgiving event page on the Glaciers Edge Council website. Your donation is pooled with fellow Stewards to maximize impact.
Step 02
Attend the Annual Meeting
Camp Stewards gather each year following the Scoutsgiving celebration to hear updates from Council leadership and vote on which projects to fund with the pooled donations.
Step 03
Choose the Projects
Stewards select funded projects from a curated list developed by the Camp Stewards Volunteer Coordinator, drawing from the Council Camping and Properties Committee, Program Director, and Staff Close Out Reports.
Step 04
See Your Impact
Watch your investment come to life at camp. Stewards who cannot attend the meeting receive a full report on which projects were funded.

Many Stewards also choose to donate additional funds to sponsor specific projects or offer matching donations — but this is never required.

Join Us at Scoutsgiving 2026
2026 has given us a lot to be thankful for, and we would be honored if you would join us to celebrate. This fundraising event provides an opportunity to give thanks for everything Scouting offers, enjoy great fellowship, and celebrate the season with a bountiful Thanksgiving buffet.
During the celebration, you will hear from our Council Executive Board, Council Commissioner, and our EBSR Camp Stewards — each sharing exciting news about our Council and the future of Scouting that you are helping to provide.
